Starting Dates and Times for Fall Sports:
ALL ATHLETES must have a physical on file in the Athletic Department before they may practice!!!!!


Middle School (as of 8/19)

Middle School Volleyball (3 dates) - August 24th - 5-7pm at Kidder Middle School
 August 25th - 6-8pm at Kidder Middle School
 August 26th - 9-11am at High School

Middle School Football (7th & 8th Grade) - August 23rd--5:30pm behind Middle School

Middle School B/G Cross Country - August 30th & September 1st --7pm @ High School parking lot 

Athletic Passes are available in the Athletic Office

Student Pass-$35.00
Adult Pass-$55.00
Family Pass-$160.00 - 2 adults and unlimited K-12 aged students
These passes are good at all home Northwest events excluding Invitationals, Tournaments, and MHSAA Tournaments.

Help support Northwest Athletics by purchasing a new Northwest Stadium Chair. Chairs are available in the Athletic Office between the hours of 7:30am-3:30pm for $40.00!!!

It is the intent of the Northwest Athletic Department to provide the students of the high school and middle school with a comprehensive, well-planned and balanced program of interscholastic athletics.

Northwest High School's Athletic Department is headed by Athletic Director, Chris Galloway. There is one athletic trainer and one department secretary serving a student body of over 920 at the high school and over 670 at the middle school. The department has 57 coaching postions: 19 head coaches and 20 sub varsity coaches at the high school and 18 coaches at the middle school.

Northwest High School is a member of the Capital Area Activities Conference in the Red Division. Divisional breakdowns are as follows

Fall Sports:

Boys: Football, Cross Country, Soccer, Tennis

Girls: Cross Country, Cheerleading, Golf, Volleyball

Winter Sports:

Boys: Basketball, Bowling, Wrestling

Girls: Basketball, Bowling, Competitive Cheer, Gymnastics

Spring Sports:

Boys: Baseball, Golf, Track

Girls: Soccer, Softball, Track, Tennis

We participate on three levels (Varsity, JV, and Freshman) in the following sports: Football, Basketball (B/G), and Volleyball. On two levels (Varsity, JV) in Soccer (B/G), Baseball, Softball, and Wrestling.
